If arriving in the Randolph Air Force Base area by plane, the nearest major airport is the San Antonio International Airport which is located about 7 miles from the base. Taxi service is available from the airport. If arriving by car, take Loop 410 East to IH-35 North. Exit at Pat Booker Road which runs to the front gate of Randolph Air Force Base. For military personnel needing temporary lodging, the Randolph Lodge has over 30 family units and over 500 single units. Pets are not allowed in the temporary lodging facility.
